The British Supermarine Spitfire was facing several challenges by mid-1942. the only thing they have going for them in good G tolerance and high turn rate and any compotent 109 or fockerwulf pilot wouldnt even attempt to get in a turn fight with a spit so that benefit is almost always useless. in realistic the spitfires arent at all OP because while they can dive decently they cant dive as good as a fockerwulf or a 109 and they dont accelerate nearly as fast as the fockerwulfs or 109's. in arcade every plane performs much much better then they do in realistic or simulator and dont run risk of ripping wings at all when turning too fast or diving. this, dont bother touching spits until they are fixed. I don't fly them anymore, waiting for some change.
